Teun awarded in ‘Voice of Innovation’

Teun Hoevenaars is one of the winners of the Voice of Innovation, an initiative by De Breed & Partners to support the education of Dutch high potentials. He was awarded a fund that enables a research internship at the Université Laval.

The Voice of Innovation is an annual event where the public decides which of twelve preselected candidates’ ideas hold the most promise for the future. Teun was selected as one of three winners by the public and will receive his award during a closed ceremony that will be held 3 July in the American Hotel and the DeLaMar Theatre in Amsterdam.

During his research internship at Universite Laval in Quebec City, Canada, Teun will work together with some of the main players in his field of research. Together with the researchers of Professor ClĂ©ment Gosselin’s laboratory he aims to tackle one of the open problems in the design of a new class haptic devices; the stiffness analysis of parallel manipulators with multiple end-effectors.
