Daan Pool is an assistant professor at the department of Control & Simulation at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the Delft University of Technology (TU-Delft), in the group of professor Max Mulder. He works on the development of novel mathematical modelling, system identification and parameter estimation techniques, with a focus on the application of such techniques for the modelling and measurement of human manual control behaviour.
Daan is co-promotor of Sarah Barendswaard, one of the two PhD students working in the VIDI programme Symbiotic Driving.
