Symbiotic Driving in Dutch Media
The VIDI project on Symbiotic Driving has seen much media attention lately.
One of the most important Dutch newspapers NRC interviewed David Abbink together with Frank Flemisch about symbiotic driving and the horse metaphor. The result was a page long special called “Horse riding on the highway”, published on July 1st 2016.
The Dutch popular science magazine “Kijk” also interviewed David on symbiotic driving. The result is an in-depth article about our alternative approach to “the-human-as-a-back-up-system” approach to intelligent vehicles.
In Dutch carreer magazine Intermediair, the Delft Haptics Lab research was featured in an article about haptics.
