Wietske Scholtens joined the Haptics Lab in January 2017 after doing her internship at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. In her literature study she looked into methods to solve conflicts in Haptic Shared Control during curve negotiation. She further investigated this topic in her thesis research, with the aim to design and evaluate individualised haptic shared control on conflict occurrence. She graduated cum laude in januari 2018.
Besides working in the lab she spends a lot of free time doing sports, either running through Delft, going to gym or a visit to the climbing hall with other Haptic Lab members.
