MSc. Roy Kok

Roy Kok joined the Delft Haptics Lab on a cohesion project between BioMechanical Engineering and Maritime Engineering, to develop haptic support for maritime vessels. After performing his internship at Alphatron, he started with a double-degree MSc thesis in Offshore & Dredging and BioMechanical Design. His work involves the design and evaluation of haptic speed advice to minimise vertical accelerations in small fast vessels, based on an estimation wave pattern history.

Apart from his MSc thesis work, Roy has kindly performed countless demonstrations of the haptic maritime simulator, even on an international conference.
